Sometimes, if we look at the end of a story, it is difficult to imagine that where there is now color and hope, once everything was gray and sad. The origin of the Huichol people is a story such as that.

A veces, si miramos el final de una historia, es difícil imaginar que donde ahora hay color y esperanza, alguna vez todo fue gris y triste. El origen del pueblo huichol es una historia como ésa.

The challenge of this book in particular was to be able to create a literary work that talks about a beginning with greyish and lifeless tones, to gradually incorporate color details in the illustrations and text to represent the story that is being told.
The characteristics of the graphic line are: full-page illustrations, short texts per page, centered paragraphs, located in flat illustration areas, only 1 font per title, regular size for reading at intermediate ages.
El reto de este libro en particular fue poder crear una obra literaria que habla sobre un inicio con tonos grisáceos y sin vida, para poco a poco ir incorporando detalles de color en las ilustraciones y texto para representar la historia que se está contando.
Las características de la línea gráfica son: ilustraciones a pliego completo, textos cortos por pliego, parrafos centrados, ubicados en zonas planas de ilustración, solo 1 fuente por título, tamaño regular para la lectura en edades intermedias.
