Hi, I am
The human behind the creative LAB
I'm a graphic, editorial & book designer based in Washington State and Mexico City. With more than 15 years of experience in different areas of design and more than 13 years in editorial.
I have a strong love for books, children’s books, typography, social media, arts & crafts, interior design and photography.
I work as a freelancer on design and publishing projects such as the Best Seller book "Se regalan Dudas", in Mexico City.
I have worked for more than 13 years in the CACCIANI Editorial Publishing House, for some projects coordinating a team of designers and also designing archaeological and educational books in both printed and digital formats. Recently, new children’s and youth collections have been added, of which I have designed more than 70 titles in printed format and with their respective digital versions in PDF and ePub, at least two of the four languages (Spanish, English, French and German) in which the publishing house publishes. Currently, more than twelve have won co-publishing competitions with the SEP (Secretary of Education), CONACULTA (National Council for Culture and Arts) and the Secretary of Culture.
I also collaborated in the exhibition “Eating and being. Gastronomic roots of Mexico” at the Iberoamerican University and I had the opportunity to design and produce the exhibition “Magical faces” at the Panamerican University.
I’m currently working for the editorial and as a freelancer, but I spend my free time working in my entrepreneurship web projects, photography and Pop Up books, since I think that creativity has to be exercised every day.
