The challenge with this collection was to create books for the Editorial's youngest readers: babies. It was necessary they were resistant and safe to use. These two characteristics were achieved with a selection of cardboard on all the pages, a short and concise content to make each book between 10 and 12 pages and finishes smoothed with a soft cut in the corners.
The main theme of the collection is the approach to the Mesoamerican world through concepts and simple words. The illustration style was unified with very organic characteristics and vibrant tones to stimulate the senses and learning process, the words and phrases used in each book are very short and are organized by themes, such as: numbers, colors, objects, cities, activities, as well as words in Mayan or Nahuatl.
